Deutsche Kónig über Alles
Crezzy day, yes. Stuco in the morning-- got our shirts, which are like soccer jerseys, which is intelesting. Some of us agreed that having "stuco" instead of the printed "stu~co" on the shirt would have been much better, or you know, even "student council", but whatever. You know the type that'll holla' first atcha, thirstmasta.

Didn't really do anything of merit during school. My Chem teacher [aka Seamus' "MOM"] is out on surgery leave, so I hope she gets well quickly as she's my neighbor and all. Lunch table was pretty stupid, although the lunch ladies prepared what was quite possibly the best schoollunch since the Reubens: Chicken Parmesean. Good mogs that was well put togtherther. Yeah, but, anyway, after school in the evening was the Feria de Lenguas / Sprachefest / f괥 des langues, which was much of the big pimping. The Coloumbian (whose hair is so long he can now wear it in a legitamate pony tail XD) won Spanish King, but I got German King, and a junior got French King. So much for the Linguistic Emperor schtick, but, oh well. I still hav the forking crown and sash, so EAT THAT, or something. Speaking of eating that, the food at the aforementioned Language Fair was quite tasty as well. What's up with all this tasty food, eh?

WEEKEND UPDATE
Yeah, so I'm doing this on a monday night. It was a long weekend, so it's all kosher or something. Just shut up, or something.

This long weekend thing was full of much of the funs. I worked on setting up my BSD firewall to be a Network Time Server, so all the computers in the house will now have accurate clocks, which, in addition to being something vaguely worthwhile was just another excuse for a foray into a unixesque environment. Maybe I'll switch over to TEH LUNIX someday, or something. I got a Homie from the vending machine at Marsh-- whitey with a big coat and baggy pants and an orange baseball cap with an unrecognizable letter in an old-gothic font.

Yeah, so Saturday was a blast. </sarcasm> Took the ACT again, and don Lalo drove me home in Eleanor as I didn't want to drive the truck as I damaged the driverside quarterpanel and felt bad about it. Eleanor is quite a vehicle. Went out with the fam to lunch, and I don't remember doing much else that day. Was that the day Doggamus and Seamus came over in the evening? I don't know.

Speaking of which, since I can't remember which day it was, I'll just write about it here. Yeah, so I had the maximum in doggitude and Seamus Riley O'Flannigan over some night for pizza and a movie. Also, Zeonic Front. But mainly pizza and a movie. And GT3. But, yeah, a movie. We watched 5th Element, which [insert another 'clever' permutation of 'Kramedog'] hadn't yet seen. I like that movie. Korben Dallas! Korben Dallas! What's the word of the day, Korben Dallas?

Sunday was a blast </seriosity> After church, clebrated El Baile's 18th birthday at Benihana's, which is much of the good. I like Japanese food-- it isn't bitter, it isn't spicy, it's tasty all around, but it just isn't sweet at all. Except for Green Tea Ice Cream, but, you know, isukurimu isn't exactly a Japanese invention. The Molls got me another Homie! YES. A Brotha' wearing a red hoody and his hands out to either side. After Benihana we we went to the park, which was interesting. El Baile exercised his right as a legal adult to smoke an awful smelling Honduran cigar. Did I mention it smelled awful? Blaugh. I mean, the cigars Pops and Mr Burke smoke don't smell nearly that bad.

Also, today, Guy Montag, was pretty fun, too. School went well, and allusions to me as being part of the triumvirate of foreign lnagauge club presidents led to me crossing the rubicon and shouting THE DIE IS CAST after school. I can't really remember anything at all noteable from the Lunch Table Conversation, except for the Nazz commenting that I'd probably give him a bad writeup today, or something. Oh well, you lucked out, Nazzy, I seemed to have forgotten.

Done like a bucket of waffles
Woo hoo! Fall break! Yeah, so I lazed around today, and the parental units had a little dinner party, which was fun. And my grandparents came down from farmsville, which is a good thing. Yeah, so I got our movie uploaded: Sportwasser.mov (48030380 bytes) Watch it, or something, yeah.

FINANCIAL IMBALANCE
Wow, I just spent this entire afternoon and evening editing together what is quite possibly the best Foreign Language Video Project. Ever. This thing is so totally awesome-- it's like one of those avant garde rage against the machine euro indie films, or whatever, except it's an ADVERTISEMENT. YES. I'm gonna see if I can run it through divx and get it down to a manageable size (~100MB or so, sorry dialup FOOLS XD) and maybe I'll post it up later. SO GOOD.

Apparently, the school Newsmagazine had an article with a quote that may or may not have actually been said by a teacher, so the poor folks down in Journalism had to put a full page sticker on every single issue. The only problem was that there was another article on the page, which just happened to be written by one of the members of my L337 CALC COLLABORATION CREW. Talk about suck. Not to mention that the sticker had a lot of black on it (mainly so it couldn't be see-through) and was more than likely printed off on one of the school Risographs, so the ink came off all over my hands, which is a bad thing while, like, eating lunch. Yeah.

Speaking of lunch, ye olde LTC was interesting as usual, mainly represials of crazy crap from Samstag. Also, this is directed to the Nazz: after careful reconsideration of the events of Saturday evening, I have this statement about the whole "It's getting cold out here" debauckle. The first I heard of the thing was when either ORRR or Popeshirt said "Hey, Nazz, it's getting cold out here" and put the last bit to the Nellie tune. Because I was too hooped up on Vanilla Coke to realize that that was an allusion to the fact that you had, in fact, already come up with a spoof of that dreaded tune, I sung one myself, which was "It's getting cold out here, so put on all your clothes / Oh yeah, it's getting so cold, I wanna put my coat on," and seemed to notice someone else singing something with slightly different lyrics (you, more than likely). I did not, however, at any time, applaud you at your parodius efforts as you stated today at lunch. No hard feelings or anything.

Oh yeah, lunchtable. So, like, the Nazz and El "Bobo" played dorkcards-- and Nazz apparently won, so good for him, NOW DORKWORLD IS HIS, or something as equally engrishy. Yeah, and the Russian lamented the US school system's ineptitude at placing him in the proper math class. You know, that's really gotta suck, seeing as he should be in, like, 'Super Mega Differential Linear Calculus Director's Cut Tournament Edition 64!' or something. Oh well, nothing'll matter IN TEH COLLAEG.

Oh, also, since when was the NASDAQ at, like, 1994 levels? Sheesh, no wonder we're losing so much 'cash' in our stock bits in Econ.

WEEKEND UPDATE
Woohoo! I now have Movable Type (thanks Martin Luther XD) configured to make this blog run at 150% of the RDA of Vitamin L337 (0wnedaflavin). If you have a blog, and have a nice webserver with the ability to do most anything (as opposed to, say, tripod) you should use it instead of whatever you use. It only takes a few hours to set it up how you want it, and, unlike Blogger or whatever, it's self-contained. </advertisement>

Yeah, so anyway, this weekend was full of much of the roxxor. The football game was great, we won like 30 something to 7, which is great, eventhough it was cold and rained for a bit. Oh well, we all found blankets to hide under. YES.

Samstag was BIG PIMPIN'. Got some of my college crap out of the way, (still haven't written the essays, though, blaugh) and then went to B. Grizzy's 19th birthday party that evening. Little bonfire action, and WAY OH WAY TOO MUCH (Vanilla) COCA COLA, as Seamus are sure to attest. Oh, watch out for Hobos, you know! They live out in the country and may or may not be Enron executives trying to sell you a power plant! Also, Kennith Starr. By the way, B. Grizzy is, of course, magic on the the mic and the best banjo/guitar/harmonica player in town. Fun was had by all. Especially with FULL CONTACT BASKETBALL. Did I mention the Hoboconsipracy? Oh yeah, I did. DUDE, LET'S GET LIT AND JUMP OFF MY ROOF.

SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY. I wonder, why do some people argue completely meaningless topics with no apparent logic? Yeah, anyway, had some Arby's and went home because I lost track of the Church fools (where did you guys go??), but, no matter, had to film a German video, which was one of the awesomest FOREIGN LANGUAGE VIDEOS. EVER. I need to figure out a way to upload those sometime, eventhough they're forking enormous. My dad's highschool friend Bert (not his real name, but aquired through ways that make my nicknaming pale in comparison XD XD XD) and his wife payed a suprise visit in the evening, which was much of the funs. So, it looks like my pop and Bertster and I'll be fishing up in Lake Michigan over Fall Break next week. YES.

Bah. I missed student council this morning. I walked into school at about 7:15, and noticed people coming out of the LGI room. To which I could only shout "TUESDAY WUAGH," or something. It was 7:15, I shouldn't be expected to remember stuff verbatim. Oh, first four periods of the day were study halls thanks to the previously mentioned PSAT. 5th (French) wasn't as I had hoped, but my calc teacher was still sick so that was another study hall because I got my worksheet done at the beginning of class. More on that later. So, uh, first and second period were spent in Testin (the teacher next to my own 1st period chem class) and study hall proper, respectively. I had probably exhausted my reading material on the Palm Pirate by 8:45 or so, so I resorted to playing minesweeper, a totally boring and stupid game. I didn't want to play space trader or snood, as those are in color, and I'm sure some idiot freshman behind me would have shouted "DUDE WHAT IS THAT THING CAN I PLAY?" or something as equally as insipid. Frau liked my paper I wrote, and it was just me and the frosh girls during German, which was interesting, to say the least. Looked at spanish magazines during spanish-- it's interesting how much more white and gray they wear. You know. So my honors calc pals helped me out with finiding tangent lines on the crezzy aformentioned worksheet, and I spread the information to the people during calc class-- it was like the worker bee coming back to the hive and relaying where the honey is, or the dudes with the antennae and the nam-shubs and whatnot in Snow Crash, or something. And I slept all afternoon. WUAGH.

Well, I almost got killed today, or something. Walking bewteen the south lot softball adjunct (where I park) and the primary south lot, I was nearly run over by some buffoon in a silver Mish-bish Eclipse. They pulled into the lane between the two lots off the main road at about 25 or 30, and didn't slow down, even though, like, I was right in the thing's path. You know, normally, I don't even worry about crossing there because, you know, the fact that I would probably do as much damage to the offending car as it would do to me typically suggests to people that they should, like, slow down. And I ocassionally point to them and give them the eye if they are acting like they think it's some sort of crime that they have to stop for pedestrians. But, uh, I had to run out of the way of this fool. I feel like getting some of that stuff that you write on windows with and putting "Watch out for pedestrians next time" on the thing's windows-- I know where it parks. Too bad it's actually a fairly decent car, I'd almost be saddened if I would have acted on my initial reaction and just jump onto the thing's hood and smash the windshield. Ah, well, the rest of school was good. All the sophomores and juniors will be out taking PSAT tomorrow, so I'll have study halls in Chem and all my foreign language classes. YES

WEEKEND UPDATE
Wow, that football game on Friday really sucked much of the stuff that is being sucked. I mean, the tailgate party was pretty rocking, and both us and the other guys played well, but the referees were the most pathetic excuses for officials I have ever seen in my life. Seriously. Oh well, my parental units were having a party at the same time, so I just came home and did that instead.

I took the SAT on Saturday, which was enjoyable as far as standardized tests go. There were a whole lot of Pikenoids there, though, which was really wierd. I mean, that's a much bigger school, why aren't they going /there/ for the test? Whatever. The SAT had a question in the math section that read something like "A certain computer program, when written in BASIC, takes three seconds to run. When written in PASCAL, it takes two seconds. How many more times can the PASCAL version be run than the BASIC version in a minute?" I immediately wrote "w00t" in my test book. hehehehe. Also, there were two seperate analogies with labyrinth in the example and a tall manmade structure (sky scraper/tower) as the response. BIZZARE.

Sunday was interesting. Church service-- well, I won't get into that, but, at least I didn't have to run the sound system, thank goodness. After Church, me and my church fools went to the Steak and Shake, and then spent the afternoon at my hizzy. Watched Blade II-- an exceedingly bizzare movie (although good overall) and ate pizza by the firepit in the floodplain. The Megs and I debated some of the wording of the initial lines to Romeo and Juliet (we had meant to watch the new(er) movie, because it's just so well put together cinematographically, hehehe), on whcih, I, of course, was wrong. However, that's probably because, you know, /she's/ the one that's on about theatre, as opposed to me, Foreign Language Boy. Oh well, it was enjoyable weekend altogether. YES

Yeah, so I made this spoonying thing look decent. And no, that's not some cool DHTML trick, that's your pathetic excuse for a graphics card trying to render the hashing over the background. I'm not sure if I'll get this uploaded to-nigg-hit or not, as the FTP server is giving me problems, but, whatever.

Yeah, so today was pretty uneventful. At the lunch table we discussed the ensuing problems with the lunchtable (see past updates), and, suprisingly, no dorkcards were played, so everything was pretty boring. Because of this, the Nazz tried to have some sort of intelligent conversation on the obvious fact that eating is a social event as it's a basic human need and doesn't involve particularly displeasing stuff. The Russian isn't doing too well on the Econ tests, for some reason-- I bet it's probably THOSE CREZZY COMMIE INDOCTRINATIONS or something. Maybe I can just write essays better, or something. Did our umpteenth Spanish video project tonight. All our video projects somehow involve brawling of some sort, just like I can always manage to get our group's poster projects to be about Cuba. MMM CUBA TASTY. And Lalo and I have figured out that we (well, at least, he is, you know) are like the great Mateo Ulandeo of last year's Spanish VI, as we goof off, get good grades, and Ulandeo sat and Lalo sits behind spanish-speaking girls (Ashley Campins and La Dumpling, respecively)-- for obvious reasons. There were, of course, plenty of /other/ reasons to sit behind Ashley Campins, but I'm not getting into all that garbage (MMM CUBA TASTY). And the Beeth gave the standard phat propz of "Good on you" about the German Club even today in class. I still haven't gotten my rough draft of my paper back from her yet. Stuco tomorrow, so I probably shout get to bed sometime, yeah.

WEEKEND UPDATE
Well, I can't remember much of what happened at school on Friday, but I do recall some fun lunch antics, like threatening to take the Nazz's Magic: the Gathering of Dorks cards (I think I'm just gonna those 'dorkcards' in this blaugh crap from now on, yeah) into the pouring rain, and almost losing my appetite while discussing the MORON who tries to be the 10th person at our 8 person table-- of course, I decided not to lose it, as it was the decent pizza. Yeah. It rained like crazy on Friday, a normal transcanadian cold front plus the remnants of that hurricane. Yeah, and I almost got into a bazillion accidents driving home because the roads were mad slick, as it was the kind of rain that brings all the oil up out of the pavement. WAUGH

So, uh, what's up with all this doing stuff on weekends, now? I think this is like the fifth weekend in a row where I've done a bunch of stuff instead of just lazing around.

I don't think I did anything Friday night, though. No, wait, I did. The fam went out to one of the decent-quality Italian restaraunts here. Calamari, Wedding Soup, Tortelloni. BAM. And then I slept, or something. Or sat in front of this screwy computer. Yeah.

Come Saturday, I started the process of completely removing all remaining possesions from my old room. I ran across all my shorts from the 01 fashion year. Woo hoo. I always like wearing the longest shorts available, see-- this year, from gab/bauer/navy, the longest length was, like, 12 inch inseam. These fools are 22s. So I'll be rolling the twinkies, cruising on dubs, whatever, because, you know, I can't loose with 22s, beyotch, that's what's up. Oh, and that evening I went to the Paul McCartney concert. Once again, with the fam, because I'm a moralless, soulless human being that cannot be allowed anywhere without strict adult supervision. That rocked so much, second only to perhaps an actual Beatles concert, or like, Elvis, both of which are completely impossible. You know.

On Sontag I did the church thing, ran the sound system, etc. Speaking of which, during the afternoon, we had a 'training session' even though the comptent ones of us already know what we're doing. Went to Sonic for lunch. MMM LIMEADE TASTY. And then from 4-6 German Club had a party at one of the big parks. Of course, neither the Nazz nor Doggamus Maximus actually bothered to attend. I guess me being German Club President isn't a good enough reason to come, whatever. XD Speaking of the Canine Maximum, we later had an IM conversation about dollar coins that actually would work. They'd of course require central holes like Kroners, and need pictures of Benny Frankie on there so they could be MiniBennies. HOORJ

So, I decided this blog thing is okay after all. I'm doing it in text right now as blogger.com is acting screwy, but, uh, whatever.

Yeah, so, anyway, school today was, uh, interesting. My German teacher and I are beginning to get at each others' throats more and more frequently, but, you know, I don't really care. Speaking of German, though-- today was the third day in a row I was supposed to sell Gummi Bears to raise money for German Club and stuff, seeing as I'm the president, you know. I find sitting in the commons and selling 5 bags at most and wasting my entire lunch period entirely fruitless, so, after sitting there for a few minutes after the bell rang beginning C Lunch, I decided to just buy the remainder of the stupid things. 16 grab bags at 60 cents each-- $9.60 for people who can only do arithmetic with a palm pirate. I then put them all in their box and went back to my lunch table, and let my firends have them. Some felt obligated to pay me back, which was fine by me (I later gave most of this to one of the kids in Econ that was raising money for Diabetes awareness or whatever, because I thought the irony was pretty quality), but it wasn't necessary. Later on, one of my friends, Doggimus Maximus, decided to put the rectangular 5x5x10ish box on their heads. Then his dreaded English teacher, Mrs Fi(e)ndley, walked by, and mentioned it was a good fashion statement. I proceeded to put the thing on my head, which turns out to be much narrower than his, but, uh, whatever. I then took it off and wrote "L337" on the front before replacing it. He and I got a good laugh, the Russian had to be reminded of it's meaning, and the Nazz and "Bobo" were too busy playing Magic: The Gathering of Total Dorkitude to pay any notice. Too bad Seamus wasn't there. He would have been crying, we thought. Oh well, I still need to talk to Crisco teacher and School Sysadmin Mr "Big Andy" Gall about getting a dead IBM Eduquest 55 to strip and leet out for a college b0x0r. I wish those things had real Model M keyboards instead of crap M2s. Model M or go home, baby.
